Fort Collins Mayor, Doug Hutchinson, and City Manager, Darin Atteberry, awarded Fuhrman Landscaping the Gold Level as a member of the City of Fort Collins' Climate Wise program at the EnvirOvation. This achievement is due to the commitment we made to a sustainable environment through water conservation and best management practices on the installation, maintenance and management of sprinkler systems and landscapes. Fuhrman Landscaping has been a member of Climate Wise since 2007.

Dan Fuhrman has achieved certifications through the Irrigation Association as a Certified Irrigation Contractor. This certification builds upon his previous certifications in Irrigation Design and Landscape Irrigation Auditing. Dan is the only landscape contractor in Colorado to hold these three certifications. We are additionally working to attain recognition through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in their Water Sense Program.

Denver Water has started a water conservation campaign, promoting SMART, weather-based, water conserving irrigation controllers. This campaign provides rebates for installation of one of these types of controllers of $150. Fuhrman Landscaping is a certified contractor to install Aqua Conserve controllers.
